About Kapelan Bio-Imaging

Kapelan Bio-Imaging is a technology-based bioinformatics company situated in Leipzig. The company was founded in 2000 and develops software for digital image analysis in the life sciences sector.

The team of CEO Olaf Brenn, consisting of bioinformatics and life sciences specialists, is dedicated to develop powerful and easy-to-use software solutions for the growing sector in bioinformatics and digital imaging. For that purpose Kapelan Bio-Imaging offers a software platform to setup bio-imaging applications in biology, research and routine diagnostics. Based on an own software platform, Kapelan Bio-Imaging offers a wide range for different operating systems: from the development of prototypes to GxP conform software systems (FDA 21 CFR Part 11).

LabImage 1D is the market leading application in 1D-gel electrophoresis analysis as well as in the automation of 1D gel analysis.
